I am Behzad Mirkhani, a Persian-American composer, performer, and educator with over thirty-five years of experience in music. I’ve composed, recorded, and performed across a wide range of styles, often blending classical traditions with contemporary fingerstyle techniques. I hold a Master of Music in Music Technology from Southern Utah University and am a certified teacher with the London College of Music. I currently teach in Newton, Massachusetts, offering lessons in guitar, violin, viola, ukulele, and music theory, and preparing students for recognized exams such as ABRSM, RCM, TCL, and LCM.

My albums include many styles of music from around the world. I play pieces from countries like Spain, France, Germany, Hungary, Russia, Mexico, Italy, and Iran. Some of my albums are for solo guitar, while others include singing or other instruments. Along with my arrangements of traditional music, my albums also feature my own original compositions. Each piece is carefully arranged to share the feeling of the original music and to reflect my own style and love for music.
